Apo Anu: Beneficiaries Commend Rep. Benson’s Food Support, Infrastructural Development

Beneficiaries of monthly Apo -Anu Foodbank of iCare Foundation of Rep. Babajimi Benson have not only commended the three – term lawmaker for sustaining the monthly food distribution but also for other interventions and facilitations of developmental projects in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

They also pledged to support him come 2027 in whatever political decision that he desires while receiving the February 2027 edition of the Apo -Anu at his constituency office in Ikorodu on Saturday.

iCare, the operational body of Rep. Benson has sustained its foodbank program for over 10 years, with thousands of households in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Comrade Olalekan Biliamin – Oba, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Development, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, Education Secretary, LGEA Ikorodu LG, Councilor Enitan Jessica Oba, Council Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA, Councilor (Princess) Abosede Benson, Council Leader, Ikorodu North LCDA, Mr Musbau Alejo, an aide of the lawmaker, Hon. Gbenga Olowonishaye, former Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA among others are some of the dignitaries that presented the food bags to beneficiaries on behalf of the lawmaker.

Mrs Blessing Uwogi, a resident of Adamo in Ikorodu North LCDA, who was receiving the food support for the first -time urged Rep. Benson to continue with his good work.

“This programme is awesome and its my first time. I want to charge Hon. Babajimi Benson to keep up the good work and may God continue to bless him.”

Mrs Rukzyat Alagbala who resided in Ikorodu, who is also getting the food bag for the first time, commended the lawmaker for his quality representation in other areas which she has benefited from.

“I have been hearing about Jimi Benson, he is the one that has been doing our street lights.

“He is the one that provided street lights for us from Ladega down to Isele. I am very grateful for getting this for the first time. If others in government and those that have been in government before him have been doing like this, there would not have been much hunger in the land.

“Come 2027, we will give him our massive support,” she declares.

“God will continue to bless him more and he should continue the good work that he is doing. He should continue to help the less privileged.”

Another beneficiary, Mrs Adijat Qudari, also expressing her own delight, said:

“I am so happy for collecting this today and may God continue to bless Honourable Babajimi Benson.”

Pastor Samuel Adenekan from Isawo, also speaking prayed for the lawmaker.

“This is my first time of coming here. I pray Honourable Babajimi Benson go higher and may God Almighty continue to grant his heart desires.”

Elder Ayodele Oguntola, from Age Friendly Support in Ikorodu, pledged the support of his group for the lawmaker come 2027.

“This is not my first time. I have been collecting it before, but today, I came to collect for our members and I have never seen someone like Honourable Babajimi Benson.

“We are giving Honourable Babajimi Benson our commitment anywhere that he decides to go in 2027. We will follow him and my prayer for him that one day he will become the President of this nation.

“I pray to God for him to uphold him and give him and be with him and if he is going for Governor he will receive our backing,” Elder Oguntola assured.

Ikorodu North LCDA Council Leader, Councillor (Princess) Abosede Benson who also spoke commended the Ikorodu Federal Representative for his care for the less privileged.

“Honourable Babajimi Benson has been doing very well in Ikorodu to the less privileged and the widows, and ever since he has started this he has not stopped. We really want to appreciate his effort over this Apo -Anu that he has been giving to his constituents.

“I want to charge Honourable Benson to continue to do this for us because more people still need to benefit.”

She said that Ikorodu is united over the gubernatorial race and for Tinubu come 2027.
